4.3.2 Southbridge Configuration

USB Functions

Selects the number of USB ports to be enabled.

HDA Controller

Enables or disables the HDA controller. The default option is

Enabled.

Restore On Power Loss

Defines what state the computer enters when power is restored

after a power loss. The options for this value are Last State,

Power On and Power Off.

Panel Power Select

Selects LVDs panel power output. The options are low (3V)

and high (5V).

4.4 Security

The Security setup menu provides both a Supervisor and a User

password. If you use both passwords, the Supervisor password

must be set first.

To uninstall the passwords, simply set a NULL password.

Change Supervisor Password

Select Change Supervisor Password and press < Enter >.

And enter your password in the appearing message box as

Power Off Set this value to always power the system

down when power is restored.

Power On Set this value to always power the system

up when power is restored.

Last State Set this value to power the system up or

down based on the previous system

power state when power is restored.
